when your jet-setting friend steps out of that plane piloted by her most-giving dad and you grin and relish the moment because she came here on that little plane to the little airport in your little town just to have coffee with you for two hours. because she's the friend who knows you in the best of times and the worst of times, who probes for truth and settles on nothing less than that, and who smiles empathetically when you confess the dark places in your soul and says, "you're not alone".

and two hours at starbucks with her this day is one of the greatest gifts you've been given.

let love and faithfulness never leave you. bind them around your neck write them on the tablet of your heart
