because you are prone to idolatry and so when he asks if we have enough money to cover the costs of signing two boys up for baseball you shrug and remind him that we gave up on money on October 1st and he nodded and left for baseball registration with the checkbook and without hesitation and trusting that all the details of all of these daily expenses will get worked out by not us. because we believe that our hearts are prone to wander and budgeting our days results in stress and anger and bitterness and discontent and we are far too easily tempted to take more and give less and the more we take is worth nothing in the end so we use what we have like it isn't even ours and this results in peace of hearts and minds and we are sure that we are cared for.
