when your Monday through Friday routine picks back up and you are reminded of the beauty of the morning sun as it decorates the day and you remember the orchard that you love to drive past at 8:15 because of the way the sun streams in to break the grip of the shadows.

and when you have forgotten that waiting is a good uncomfortable, the tall row of trees are a reminder to you that life takes time to grow, that change doesn't happen suddenly and wisdom isn't gained (or abandoned) overnight but each day the sun does rise and the shadows of night are put away and god does do what he says he will do and he is just and righteous and holy.
and the trees know it, too.
let love and faithfulness never leave you. bind them around your neck write them on the tablet of your heart
