when we crawled into bed on december 25th very tired and with very full hearts, he asked me what my favorite part of the day was and i thought and answered, "all of it" because it really was one of those days that was good from beginning to end. but then i thought some more and settled on this as the icing on the cake.
because doing this, cutting intentional time into the week before christmas to think of why we love and then setting each family member on a stage on christmas day to be verbally reminded of why we love him or her keeps everything tied down and in focus and what other time in the year do 5 people clap for you in your living room?
