when you finally get a replacement camera for the one that officially stopped working right before Christmas, and giddy you take it out of its box and the child who doesn't ever want to be photographed runs to get a nerf gun and when he comes back to the kitchen and you ask him what in the world he's doing with that thing and he says, "if you're gonna shoot me with that thing, then i'm gonna shoot you with this".
